Place a fan in the internal windows to pump warm air across #1132

It was suggested by @mattwilsondotuk that a reasonably small fan towards the top of the internal windows would do a decent job of removing heat from the South side and directing it to the North side. If we can do it easily enough it seems worth a try? Simply opening the windows doesn't seem to have all that much of an effect.

(I might ask the guy who can cut through walls if he does windows too!)

Sounds great. We could regulate it automatically using an wide angle infrared thermometer directed at the room. I've got one in the main room above the TV and it's registering 21deg on an evening in May, so things could get hot over there.

We should move this IR thermometer device somewhere in the Room 29 if that's the hot area. Where should it go?

On a similar note, I was just researching ceiling fans that we could control by MQTT, and they look pretty old fashioned (not changed in 100 years) and inefficient. Maybe their motion is so lazy and slow because you don't want to blow things around the room. There's got to be an answer to why don't people simply mount a desk lamp on the ceiling? If it's good enough for the desk, why not there?

There are cheap and noisy extractor fans that could be hacked, like this one: https://www.sparksdirect.co.uk/aura-eco-100b-low-energy-6w-quiet-100mm-bathroom-fan-for-wall-ceiling-airflow-9041347 They'll probably be as bad as running a hair-dryer.

But there are ones that advertise as silent for not much more: https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/XPC4TS.html

This one comes with a duct: https://www.wayfair.co.uk/diy-plumbing/pdp/xpelair-simply-silent-10cm-shower-fan-with-3m-wall-tube-and-external-grille-xplr1006.html

Could get one of these for hacking. Then we'd also need to do the calculations as to whether 21 litres/second is enough airflow to actually shift any energy around.

There are these nice looking window fans as reviewed on whatfans.com. Unfortunately they don't seem available in the UK.

We could chain up a a bunch of CPU fans. We probably got loads of those around.

(1064*1000)/21/60 = 190 so just over 3 hours to pump out all the air from the room, given we only really want the top metre or so that actually seems fairly reasonable. Hm.. I didn't think we wanted the duct but I guess that would give you the option to bring it down to floor level too.

(Basic measurements taken from https://github.com/DoESLiverpool/somewhere-safe/blob/master/Plans/does-tapestry-floor-plan.pdf and I mistakenly used 4m for the ceiling height when the wiki says it's 3.6m https://github.com/DoESLiverpool/somebody-should/wiki/Rooms )
