Work out and document how to use MiraBox HDMI capture box for events #1255

I've purchased a "MiraBox" on advice from @methoddan

This is an HDMI capture and passthrough device.

The idea is we can connect it between a laptop and the projector to capture what is being displayed during events, then add that into any #MakeSpaceLive or other event recording.

This is as it's often quite difficult to see the display on the projector in video recordings.

Anybody who wants to work it out and document it please do, if not I'll get around to it asap.

Nice work Alex, these boxes are really easy to use. Just plug and play with something like OBS. It shows up as a standard video device on Linux, so will definitely work on Windows or Mac.

I doubt I'll get time to do documentation any time soon with FOM, OggCamp and other events coming think and fast. I'll try to do it after that if nobody else has had time though :)

We've had a lot of success with these little beauties for MakeSpaceLive events. We must add this back into the overall documentation todo list
