Tidy up the fibre arts room #1832

The fibre arts room has been getting a bit messy, I've tidied up today can everyone please put things back where they got them from and not just dump stuff. I've reorganised the embroidery threads, the bags of balloons(no idea where they came from or why they're in there) are behind the door out of the way as is a bag full of empty plastic sweet containers. I was also wondering if we can find a place for the Miss Liverpool eco dress to be put more permanently so that we can use the smaller size mannequin? At £250+ a mannequin like that makes quite a valuable display stand that is not able to be used. Just a thought is would it be possible to hang it from the ceiling? As the ceilings are so high we could utilise the space to display things like that. I would also like to request that if food or drink is spilt please clean it up! Shared spaces are fabulous when everyone contributes to keeping it clean and tidy but when I came in today I had to tidy up before I could use it.

Next time I'm in I will sort out the fabric boxes and yarn cones as they seem to be overflowing from boxes and bags. Again, utilising the high ceilings could we get some taller shelving?

One person (can't remember who) complained to me that their fabric had been marked by food remains on the table. I wonder if it would be best if people didn't eat in there at all? I think there is already an issue for shelving. I'll ask around to see if I can get another mannequin, but in the meantime there isn't any issue in removing the dress while you're constructing something.

Looks like we'll be getting a mannequin for the ecodress quite soon. In the meantime @KayaScott (one of the creators) will have it on display at her studio and at various events.

Mary brought in the new mannequin and I have now moved the Ecodress to that. I've added an issue to improve the stand (#1841). @KayaScott will come and collect her mannequin soon. There is also a black fabric covered dress form, currently without a stand - it would be good if someone could take a look and comment whether it is something that's useful to keep here.
