Potential issue with Ariadne's AYAB board #1835

It was mentioned to me that a problem with the AYAB board (or Arduino?) is stopping Ariadne from working. I don't have any further information but will try to take a look at Maker Night

Jake (first time Maker Day visitor) installed AYAB on the Windows machine in the Fibre Arts room and we were able to use the knitting machine - it looks as if this must have been a problem with Ubuntu updates
