We're still sending through a Session which is deprecated... yet still works ?

Yep! Deprecated in DoSomething/northstar#265.

No plans to remove the support anytime soon, so no worries.

This is a general cleanup task we can get to after launch, but we should keep open. I've been pegging all issues that felt like blockers to the Cheezburger 1.1 milestone
