this change improves code portability e.g. running in on windows

Bump. Do you plan to improve ANGRYsearch? I work on better portability (windows) and need to know if it make sense to send you patches...

I did not really planned to do much improvements, just keeping it working as I use it daily. but will happily merge pull requests and do some testing in virtual machines before releasesing higher numbers versions. Problem is I am pretty noobish and got here some conflicts in this pull request and not sure about resolving them.
