This change cleans up the handling of asciidoctor-pdf, consolidating around the asciidoctor gem call and abandoning the CLI invocation. Something about the way I attempted this before did not work, but I had to clear this up in order to avoid passing thousands of attributes via the asciidoctor-pdf CLI.
