Unable to create valid signed messages

For some reason I cannot verify messages signed using the "Sign Message" tool in the Dogewallet. I have tried multiple signature verification tools and they all report the signature being invalid. Here's one for example:

Just wondering... am I doing something wrong somehow? Does the message need quotes around it or something?
