Cannot start app if behind proxy #84

Computer OS and version (Mac,Win,Linux,...) : Ubuntu 10.04
Java version (java -version from command line) : java version "1.6.0_26"
ADB version (adb version from command line) : Android Debug Bridge version 
1.0.26
AndroidScreencast version : downloaded 24 nov 2011

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Be behind a proxy with the computer.
2. Start androidscreencast.
Expected: Started application
Actual: Application tries to download latest version and that fails because of 
the proxy and after that it is not possible to use the application.

Seems like a good app if I just could use it.
