Nametag not changing and essentialsx /tp not working

So the title says a bit of the issue I'm having. To be specific, I have essentialsX and I saw the patch note saying it was specifically for essentialsx or essentials. So I updated, and everything I've tried but /tp works, tp returns null. Also, nametag isn't updated. /nte reload removes the prefix but has to be done manually, and nametag doesn't change. I have removed the config for it to update since vault was removed just in case, it is using MySQL both nte and betternick. Is this known or not? Any known plugins conflicting with nametags?
