Hey Domi, I’m an app developer specialized on visuals and music reactive apps (Fluids & Sounds, Vythm JR …). I want to use the android Visualizer API to visualize music on the lockscreen (always on) as done in Edge Music Lightning. I just saw your app always on and thought it could be a good starting point for an always on music Visualizer. I saw the GPL and it only allows commercial use in case I make the source code publicly available but I want to have it closed source. Any possibility to pay you a certain percentage of my potential revenue in case I’m using it closed source or paying a one time fee to you in case I want to make a commercial product out of it which is closed source?

Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. There are currently no plans to change the license.
