Problem: prcessing data for express#1 takes > 10s.

[x] Break down time spent: DECODE vs. handleData
- -> DECODE <1s
- -> handleData >10s
- -> happens both with and without debugging (of VSCode Extension) enabled
[x] This should not take this long. Figure it out and fix it!

Notes

Almost all time is spent in the (recently revised) TraceCollection.resolveErrorTraces
- -> specifically _getPreviousInContext -> binary search

[x] Only search for previous trace if absolutely necessary.

-> for express#1: addData about as fast as DECODE, total: about 2s.
