Conflict with Hyphenator 2.1.0 and mootools

I got this mail:

Hallo,

wir testen gerade Hyphenator für einen Newsletter der Uni Hamburg 
(https://uni.uni-
hamburg.de/onTEAM/preview/newsletter.html).

Die neue Version 2.1.0 kollidiert mit dem parallel eingesetzten Mootools. Wir 
haben nicht 
verstanden, was da genau passiert. 2.0.0 zeigt diese Problematik nicht.

The problem is the new DOM-cleaning feature that removes the style-attributes 
that declared 
the elements as hidden: only the top element (class='hyphenate') is checked if 
it has an own style 
but styles are removed from all its child-elements -> disaster!
