I'm sorry that I couldn't answer earlier. Does your problem still exist? Are you using the latest version of SimpleBroadcast and Spigot?

It doesn't seem like it. I am using the latest version of Spigot indeed, and was using the latest version of SimpleBroadcast too, but the problem doesn't occur anymore. It might still be worth it looking into it, in case other people undergo the same problems, or if mine reoccur :)
