Dreamplex and ViX Spinner #228

Hi,

I've noticed regularly dreamplex causes my vu+ duo to just display the vix spinner and I'm forced to switch the box off and turn back on.

I had the rc14 version on my box then updated the files with the ones which were released yesterday and almost straight away I got the vix spinner when trying to play a tv show.

without a dreamplex log i cant find out whats going on ;-)

Where do I find the log file to show you mate?

just check in your settings. there is the path. normally under /hdd/dreamplex

It was set to my /tmp folder so I've set it to a folder on my hdd.

Will grab a log for you next time I get the never ending spinner :)

Just had this again..... screens goes black for a second and up comes the vix spinner..... left it for 15 minutes then was forced to hard reboot.

No log files created -.-

thats bad. only possibility i see that find out how to force the error.

after that connect to your box via telnet and enter

init 4 than enigma2

force the error and watch the output
