Spoolman no longer reachable after Ubuntu Upgrade to 24.04.1 LTS #522

Today I upgraded my Spoolman Ubuntu VM from 22.04.5 LTS to 24.04.1 LTS. After Upgrade Spoolman was not reachable via Browser. So I returned to last VM snapshot and everything was fine.

Spoolman Host (please complete the following information):

VM under VMWare ESXi 8.0.1
Spoolman 0.20.0
Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS (working) / 24.04.1 LTS (not working)
Database type: [SQLite, PostgreSQL, etc] - not sure: It's a standard installation via provided install script

Desktop (please complete the following information):

OS: Windows 11 Pro
Browser Edge Version 130.0.2849.56

Did you get any errors when upgrading? Any errors in your server console?

I just tried installing Spoolman using standalone method on a new Ubuntu 24.04 instance and it works without any problems.

Interesting, thanks for reply. The Release Upgrade was successfull without errors at first sight. But good to know, that's working under 24.04. So I can create a new VM with 24.04 and install spoolman again. Is there a way to move the database to the new machine?

In the wiki there's the backup and restore page that explains how you can fiddle with the database file :)

Thx for the hint, I didn't search under ./local/share.
