I'm not sure this is a problem with the report? Basically it never really gets to run the tests as it is a Guice error.

I think failure should still be logged giving the user info that it was a Guice error. At the moment diagram shows one failure but it contradictively displays: "Failures (0) No failures" at the bottom of the page.

This is a bug. Failing background steps are not being included in the stats.
