During print printer travels to outside of bed and back - Repetier FW #94

Open bieshaar opened 10 years ago

bieshaar commented 10 years ago

During printing of a doodle the printer suddenly chooses a travel path to the boundary of the bed. Sometimes a straight line in X direction and sometimes in Y direction. It then also doesn't respect the bed limits and travels beyond bed size with causes a stall. FW = Repetier

Hi Bieshaar, we didn't test a lot with Repetier running printers, because we though that none of the printers we officially support run it. What printer are you using? Maybe we can get our hands on it.

I'm using our own design (from mymatics) I think you are the one who worked on it during the userday a couple of months ago in Amersfoort.

Rick already contacted me about maybe another userday. Be more then happy to let you guys work on it. Rick knows how to reach me the best to schedule.

Ahaa yes I was :) Looking forward to it.

You should b.t.w. check, in the settings, the printer dimensions and the Pixels to mm scale. This could solve a part of your problems.
