The ULB of ROM 4:19 now reads, supplying a verb for clarity: \v 19 Without becoming weak in faith, he considered his own body as dead (because he was about a hundred years old)—and he considered the deadness of Sarah's womb.
The Greek here is tough.
Thanks Henry,
Tom
He also acknowledged that Sarah's womb was not able to bear children
καὶ τὴν νέκρωσιν τῆς μήτρας Σάρρας
"Deadness" (KJV) seems to be more OED literal and less UDB-ish here.
