Is there any information about what replaced the capemgr? I'm working on some stuff for raspberry pi as well

I installed a pre-built image of Ubuntu arm edition to my BBB, one that Robert Nelson contributed to the Ubuntu / Beagle-Bone community and it's based on a 3.14 kernel.
Apparently, the Capemgr has gone away for kernels past 3.12 or so, and DTOs are handled a different way.
Being a linux novice, I'm at a loss as to how to get the cape IO definition in-place since I can't use your handy dto script. I'm wondering if you'd care to take a look and provide a method (or some guidance) for "cape managing" for the newer kernels.
