Evolution menus missing #504

Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 64 Bit

Global Menu version 0.7.7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Evolution
2. Go to Global Menu
3. Expect to see menu - its missing

Please test agains 0.7.8 or a recent git head.
There were important changed from 0.7.7 to 0.7.8, and from 0.7.8 to recent git 
head
that affects 64bit/multi-core platform and evolution.
