Nautilus window keeps it's menu

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. build git trunk on Ubuntu 9.10
2. install & restart

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

It should display menus for both desktop and nautilus' windows. however, 
menu is displayed when desktop is focused only. when I open any folder in 
window, the window cotains it's menu, and globalmenu displays just icon

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

git trunk, ubuntu 9.10 (libvala0 0.7.6-1ubuntu1)

Thanks. I just removed all build dependencies (you have way too many IMHO). Any 
plan to 
put karmic build into PPA?
