Which version of Global Menu are you using? The git head or 0.7.8 release?

What do you mean by deactivate?
To deactivate the panel integration, you have to logout and back-in after the
changes.

Would you try to reword your usecase a bit?

I really really don't understand the situation. Although I believe this is an
important issue.

Some screenshots may be helpful.

Thank you.

:O Sorry i fix with the follows steps :

i delete my "/home/user/.gnomerc" ( just have a line
"GTK_MODULES=globalmenu-gnome" )

Open the Synaptic and Installing the follow Packages and deps :

flex
libwnck-dev
bison
byacc
valac
libvalac0
libgnome-menu-dev
libpanelappletmm-2.6-dev
libnotify-dev

Download , Extracting , Compiling and Install manually : Vala (
http://live.gnome.org/Vala ) ( Lastest Version )

Download , Extracting , Compiling and Install GlobalMenu (
http://code.google.com/p/gnome2-globalmenu/downloads/list ) ( Lastest Version )

And this Fix that error for me , but i dont be secure if are by the line in my
.gnomerc file , or if some dependency :$

Well i hope this info can help anothers users of Ubuntu and Variants ^^

.should be the line in yout gnome rc. The line is deprecated long time ago -
use it only if your gnome
have a old gnome-settings-daemon.

Good that you get it working
