This bug has been reported to the shotwell launchpad project but was identified
as a problem caused by globalmenu.
Please see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shotwell/+bug/646330 and
its duplicates.
------------------------
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add globalmenu to the applet
2. Start shotwell
3. Open a picture and press F5
What is the expected output?
Start a slideshow.
What do you see instead?
A white screen (fullscreen) and shotwell crashes after seconds of being
unresponsive.
What version of the Global Menu are you using? On what operating system?
gnome-globalmenu:
Installed: 0.7.9-0ubuntu1~ppa1~lucid2
Candidate: 0.7.9-0ubuntu1~ppa1~lucid2
Version table:
*** 0.7.9-0ubuntu1~ppa1~lucid2 0
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

-
When removing the applet from the panel shotwell works like a charm again. F5
