v0.9 (gnome3 version) Certain sub menus do not work #678

Many sub menus do not open, for instance, Inkscape and GIMP, the initial menus 
open (clicking on Inkscape opens drop down menu, clicking on Filters brings 
another drop down, but that's as far as it goes, clicking on the submenus 
within Filters or other sub menus will not open).
