QuickSearch Page: Keyboard Navigation / Tab Order #5

Tab Order is currently a default order that does not make sense to a keyboard navigator.

Here is the current order: Tab Key produces -- Control Enter Prompt (this is good to see)

  1. Last Update (Button) / Value
  2. Weekly Sales List - Bid Received Live (Button)
  3. Public Trustee Resources (Link Box)
  4. Help (Group Box)
  5. Popular Report (Group Box)
  6. Donut Chart
  7. Search Results
  8. Donut Chart / Total and Presale Number
  9. Search Bar Area

These are general names and will be refined as the actual components of the report are reordered for keyboard navigation. Some of the order is up to interpretation on how you want to guide someone to the most important aspects of the report. "Most important" is up for interpretation as to the intent.
(But regardless of a users perspective the Search Bar Area (9) should show up before you navigate to Search Results (7).

This should be looked at in more detail since the Group Boxes currently do not allow a keyboard reader to navigate to the components inside the boxes. There will be other navigation items that haven't been uncovered with the assessment as this does not reflect actually searching and navigating to the search results on another page.

Need to review our recorded session as to how to get the Search box to let us go to the search results. I think we did that but my keyboard navigation is getting stuck on the magnifying glass and/or the eraser. It doesn't just tab into the results section. Issue TBD.
