There is a -chip argument in train. What does this do? It's entirely possible I missed it, but the FStitch paper seems to focus nearly exclusively on its application to nascent. I remember Robin mentioning once, though, that it had application elsewhere (although I don't recall all of the details). We should interrogate this argument (if it still functions), or, if it is not functional, remove it.
