polybar-3.1.0 cannot be built with the latest xcb libraries (see https://github.com/jaagr/polybar/issues/1090). This PR adds git version, which builds just fine.

P.S. I'm not sure whether -9999 should be keyworded in this case. I guess it's up to you.

@greydot Thanks for the addition.

I have opened a PR removing polybar from this repository however since it has been added to gentoo's portage. Have you tried using that and does it work for you?

@bpinto Thanks, I didn't notice it was already in Gentoo. They added a quick hack with sed, so it builds and seems working. Disregard this PR then.
