I have a feeling that our examples may not actually be running now.  I haven't 
tested this yet - just a feeling.  We should really get this taken care of 
soon.

I have added a test for a simple example Docs2Sentences.  

Also, the scripts and the tests should probably write output to somewhere in 
the target directory.  Right now it writes to the test/src/resources and this 
typically causes changes on the file system and so things get out of sync with 
files in subversion.  This seems unnecessary.
