Data18 not downloading fanart #68

I'm using the following:

1. XBMC 12.2
2. Windows 7 64bit
3. Scraper: Data18 Web content (Data 18 MOD)
4. Test data - a number of X-Art movies

All posters are downloaded correctly. When I go to "Movie information" ->
"Change art" -> "Posters", a select any one in the list, it takes about 2
seconds (for the image to download) and then it displays correctly. But when I
try to change the fanart, it also takes 1 or 2 seconds, but then the default
XBMC image is shown, indicating that the image download failed.

I've changed the fanart manually in the database to be exactly the same as the
poster (with the same spoof, etc), but without any luck (the poster is still
downloaded, but the EXACT same image as fanart fails). So I'm not sure if this
is a problem with the scraper or with XBMC itself. If the exact same image can
be downloaded as poster, but not as fanart, I think the download procedure
differs. Note: fanart without a spoof (direct download) work perfectly.

From memory the scraper only attempts to grab "fanart" if downloading the
poster fails, in such cases it will use the "fanart" as the main image / poster
image.

This decision was made to avoid having full sized screen shots showing in the
background when browsing the library.

Can I update the XML of the scraper myself to remove this feature (so that it
still download fanart)?

Or is this something build into the all XBMC scrapers?
