ZIP files are not updated and contain wrong images

The “Download all files” ZIP file is a total mess:

• The contents are often outdated. Updating STL files of a Thing, does not cause the ZIP file to be updated and the old STL files remain in the download. At some point I was able to force the ZIP file to be updated by adding or removing images to my Thing, but this does not seem to work every time.
• The LICENSE and README files contain useless garbage.
• The images folder contains way too many images of all size variations of each photo, only the full-size photos should be in there. Many of the images are sometimes from the wrong Thing. It seems that these wrong images will also show up in users' dashboards, so the problem seems to be in the database itself.

Here's a 2022 update: they solved this, yeah… by just dropping the zip files altogether, what a genius move! Too bad if a Thing consists of 20 parts, you now have to click each of them separately. But currently it is even impossible to download anything at all, because of some overzealous ad-blocker detection. Thingiverse has become a terrible joke.
