Pokedex doesn't register mons as "seen" #12

Mons aren't correctly flagged as "seen" except in a few circumstances

a) a pokedex entry is displayed as part of an event (the PC in Masaki's house, the kabigon guy on the SS Annu) b) caught but not sent to PC--wild pokemon which directly enter the party after being caught are correctly flagged c) evolution--presumably this triggers the same flag as above, newly evolved pokemon are correctly flagged as seen

Outside these circumstances pokemon are not registered as seen even if they are caught. Their number in the pokedex thus remains blank, albeit with a pokeball symbol next to the blank line if they are owned anyway. My pokedex currently says "56 seen, 106 owned".
