Also this text is not available. This time it's a self generated civilization. Are the english flavor text messages randomly created while the faction is generated and can't be translated because of this the normal way?
Also this already partly translated text but cut and with wrong umlaut characters are not included.
Were you playing a a custom civilization by chance?
I'm playing with the vanilla Mimots. First three screenshots.
The last screenshot is not from me but from a german youTuber . He played with a custom civilization he made at the beginning of his game.
One more example at the end of the first campain "Terran Alliance Ascendant" if you defeat the Xeloxi when played in German. This text is not included in the XML files.
@Draginol @Draver7 The upper green framed text is included in the basic XML data folder. - ok
The red framed messages are not included in the data/*.XML files.
I found them in the folder of the generated custom civilization in the ...\My Games\GalCiv4\Faction\FlavorText[Name of Faction] GUID]_FlavorText.xml file.
But where are the templates for this generated text, because it has a problem with the umlaute all displaying not correctly in the complete FlavorText xml of the faction. Can you provide also this template here to be able to fix/correct it?
The sometime not translated answering choices are taken from the ...\MyGames\GalCiv4\Factions\FlavorText\FACTION_DEFAULT_FlavorText.xml or from one of the custom factions.
Does it work to add it to the data/German/Text/ folder and to translate it?
And it seems to be random if the text is taken from the default file or the same copied file from a custom civilization. Because I have some self made factions in German and some downloaded in English, the text is randomly mixed between English and German.
@Draginol @Draver7 Both marked choice strings are not included in the strings for translation. Any possibility to add these?
