"its dports copy is still unchanged."
This is not entirely true. It's been updated in the "staged" branch waiting for a merge. I was also very emphatic about using this version over the FreeBSD version (easily obtaining via "raw" functionality of github). The FreeBSD and DragonFly versions may be the same, but there is translation going on during a copy.to fix some makefile incompatibilities, so they could easily be different.
staged merged into master, new gecko mk available. A second release 3.4 tag is coming.
The FreeBSD ports version of Mk/bsd.gecko.mk has been updated on 2013-04-03 and its dports copy is still unchanged. Recently updated ports making use of this file may be partially or completely broken.
At least www/seamonkey 2.17 dies at runtime with a sqlite-related error. Updating bsd.gecko.mk to the last FreeBSD ports version and rebuilding the package fixes the issue.
