This project is very interesting and I would like to participate on this but I'm not in love with Eagle (due to it's proprietary license).
So, I want to know if you're planning to use an other EDA.
I'm used to use KiCad (due to it's similarities with Eagle) but there's also others tools. Here, 3 tools:
gEDA: Full suite of electronic tools. It have a lot of features and also a great simulating tool (ngspice).
KiCad: Eagle clone with a lot of libraries. There's also a 3D viewer for PCB. For simulation it can use any "spice-like" tool (like ngspice from gEDA project)
Fritzing: There's a "breadboard" tool. It seems it can't simulate anything but I'm not sure.
Which one do you prefer ? Would you want some help for the conversion ?
