Coverage decreased (-1.4%) to 66.019% when pulling cf8fc32c318c510afc40fec2d9bdcc8ec4590eed on fix/chrono_dep into 98b0ed6fe52817a824ab839ca32fec1c4da64695 on master.

i gave this pr code a test and things seem to work as expected. no findings with cargo audit either.
