Thauminomicon Images Blacked Out? #26

For some reason, a good deal of the pictures in the Thauminomicon are blacked out, including a few important recipies. Is this a common problem, is this a game mechanic, or am I just having bad luck?

This is a mod side bug, not much I can do about this one.
