The pigmen are set to not get mad if you use silk touch to mine nether ores. Gives you incentive to get silk touch. However, apparently silk touch on my dig spell doesn't count. A mob of pigmen will not care if I use a silky pick on quartz. But if I do it with magic, they will murder my face.
