Removing entry from "Regex Hoster", doesn't have the desired effect, setting still active #42

For some time I had a hoster declared in the "Regex Hoster" option, to only see links from this hoster. Now I wanted to open this up again and some days later even switch to a new hoster.

I cleared the field and restarted, but still only links from the old hoster were provided (links from other hosters where available for the specific episode, I checked). When I entered a new hoster, still only links from the old hoster were provided.

Today I opened the programm again and everything is right again. I have no idea what triggered or caused this. The hosters are shown according to the settings again.

Closed it prematurely, with checking just a few examples. I ran into another case, where one hoster is not shown, but definitively available. E.g. series Scandal only shows SO links. But as far I can see, Ul links are available for all episodes.

Thanks for the Bug-Report. I'll look into it.

Is this still an open problem? Do you have a config.xml which shows the problem? Thanks

SimJoSt commented 8 years ago

In my standard config SjUpdater shows both SO and Ul links, which is correct, as I have not set the hoster regex setting. I tested it, setting it to share-online only and then afterwards to uploaded only, but it still showed both of them (yes, I restarted). I put his config.xml in a gist for you: https://gist.github.com/SimJoSt/414d5a46b11cd418f340

As mentioned in https://github.com/Dreamcooled/sjupdater/issues/74#issuecomment-189888946 is my SjUpdater in version v0.50 not updating at all, so it is not possible to test, if the probleme here still exist, as there are new data coming in.

PS: Should we switch to German, as I don't think this software is of any interest to non-German speakers?..
