Description:
Opening a backpack while wearing a chestplate results in a confusing switch between the two items. At first, the backpack item appears to be inside the backpack itself (meta). If you place any items inside of the backpack while it's in this state, it will accept them, but will return the items to your inventory as soon as you exit the GUI. Sometimes, these items turn invisible, completely disappear, or seem to duplicate, until you click a duplicate item, at which point the duplicate disappears.
To Reproduce:
Equip something in your chestplate slot.
Place a backpack in your inventory.
Right-click the backpack to open it, and put items in it.
Exit the backpack GUI.
Open your inventory and backpack GUIs.
Expected behavior:
Your backpack and chestplate will switch places, and all the items you just put in your backpack will be lost...forever! Or if you're lucky, they'll just be invisible.
