For version 3.1, put in an Autodetect button to tell the user whether their PC is 32- or 64-bit. #16
It'll pop up a window that says "Your computer is (whatever)-bit" and run 'wmic os get osarchitecture' to figure out what type of Windows is installed. The command is only compatible with Vista and above. The user can then select the appropriate option in the Options menu with 3.0 being only one version instead of the 32- and 64-bit Editions of 2.x.
