Give version 3.1 a personal touch by allowing the software to greet the user using their first name if they want. #21

What this means is, instead of the old "Welcome to Drew's App Launcher... Click the buttons..." text in the status bar, make it so that users can choose if they want the old text in the status bar or a personal message that says, "Welcome back, (FirstName)!" There will be an option on the General tab in Options that is a checkbox to use a personal greeting in the status bar; if the checkbox is checked, the "Enter your first name (or nickname.)" field will be enabled; otherwise, the status bar will display the old text.

I think this would be better as a version 3.1 feature.

Actually, the "old" text will be "Welcome to UAL, the Unified Application Launcher!" Or I could do, "Welcome to UXL, the Unified eXecutable Launcher!" I'll probably use the second one because it sounds cool. The "old" text will be different because the application isn't called Drew's App Launcher in version 3.0+.
