Issues with too large cost #1

As a developer I would like to fix the issue with starting a search at too high of a cost.

When the initial cost is too large, the subsequent searches can have too high of a gradient, and the size compounds until it hits infinity.

Recreating: Use large initial sizes for Rosenbrock_Multi

Moving this ticket into low priority. I don't foresee this being an issue with the intended use case, but I'm leaving it logged in case the tool is re-purposed.
