The Help Images Will Not Show Up #26

Quite simply as it says, I cannot seem to figure out why and I did utilize the help image generation for inkscape, but none of the built in help images appear for more than a second. qfFkMKTQXE

For reference this is with a base install and holding shift will show up the help screen so long as it is held. ytHX6iXNVf

Have you hidden any image states? Try the Layout/Settings dialog's third tab. State0 is unshifted and state1 is shifted images.

If the Help Image Generator did its thing, the generated images should show up in a new subfolder of the active layout folder.

img_HideStates is set to 0, so no it is not set to hide the state in the .ini. I am not sure the cause, all I know is it should be shown but is not presenting itself.

If it's set to 0, it's set to hide state0. So the help images should show up on Shift only. If you set it to -- or anything non-numeric really, images show up on state 0 as well.

In EPKL_Settings_Default.ini (and not overridden in an EPKL_Settings_Override file!), this is how it should look:

img_HideStates  = none    ; --,0,1,6,7 - Hide these help image shift states. Shift+=1, AltGr+=6.
