Odd door problem with "Sliding Blast Door": Blocks Disappearing depending on camera angle. #124

As you can see in this video, the door blocks disappear depending on the camera angle, and if the player stands right in front of the door, it can be seen right through. Optifine is not installed, and it happens no matter the FOV. You can actually cause the blocks to disappear by changing the FOV while looking at the blocks. Happens on both server and singleplayer. It also doesn't happen with a certain side of the screen, as shown in the video.

are you using NTM only or also any kind of Culling mod?

Fairly sure I am not. Running lots of mods but I don't think there's any mods that advertise a "culling" feature in there, and Optifine isn't installed either. I will try it with NTM only and report back.

well, i got the same issue too, maybe is just the way it was coded (culling itself if it detects no player looking at it) but it is not well calibrated

well, i could remember that i was trying NTM alone (Try the mod Outside the Dev Environment)

try to place the Blast Door in its 2-4 possible states (each one looking at the 4 cardinal directions) and then move near them just as the video shows, but most importantly: Change your vision angle as the dude in the video does, that's how you trigger them to disappear
