It seems that any of the Cladding Armor Mods won't provide the player with any RAD Resist. I checked the Player's Resistance the Geiger Counter and Cloth, Lead & Desh Cladding gave no RAD Resist. The counter will show it being 0.0%.
I had a full set of Diamond Armor with all of the pieces having Desh Cladding, which should've been 0.8 RAD Resist in total (0.2 per piece) and the counter still told me it was 0.0%. There was also no reduction with items/areas giving you radiation.
Now... the counter does tell you your Resist if you used a Rad-X which gives you 0.4 Resist for 3 Minutes, the counter tells me 47.46% (0.4). There's still no change if you have any armors with Cladding, however.
Full HEV Suit, which gives me 93.51% (1.7) Resist.
Full HEV Suit with 4 Desh Claddings... still 93.51% (1.7) Resist.
Number might be higher than normal since I still had the Rad-X effect from before, but even then the Cladding just isn't giving me any extra resist.
