2 days ago Double confirmation - this makes STG a non-solution. When the install is not recognized, I can shut the browser down and restart firefox. Now the tab groups are back (and STG is known to be installed), but the groups are empty, so I have to repopulate.
Fix needed!
Hey, STG seems a great solution to me, but when I restart my machine (Pop_OS 22.04, Firefox 130.0) my groups have disappeared, and I DO have Open previous windows and tabs enabled.
After restart, I still have the little 9-box STG icon in the upper right (next to the three bar Firefox menu), but when I click on it I just get a pair of rotating arrows, like it's thinking about something. I also have a 9-box "Open Manage Groups" at the very top (like where you make new tabs, etc), but clicking that gives me a notification "you need to install STG". Ok, I click the notification to go to the addon page, but it says it's installed already.
When I do "List all tabs", I get just the tabs for the current group (probably whatever was unhidden when I shutdown the machine), although "Hidden Tabs" should me all the tabs for all the groups.
The fix right now is to uninstall and reinstall STG and recreate the groups (the hidden tabs are still there, so this is not as much of a nightmare as it could be), but it still feels unsustainable.
Any idea why my groups are being erased?
