I usually use multiple windows to navigate with a single container. To have more organized my workspace. When I move a Group tab to a new window, it is detached from the Always open tabs in container rules. Because of this I have to manually open a containerized tab for each new page. Look for an extension that maintains a container per window, such as "Sticky Window Containers", the problem is that it does not work well with "Simple Tab Groups" and does strange things when trying to open the group or page manager such as about: logins. Is there a way to integrate multiple windows to Groups to take advantage of the Always open tabs in container rules? or place an option to be able to manually bypass Firefox or add-on settings pages. I'm sorry about my English too. Have you tried using Firefox Multi-Account Containers? https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/multi-account-containers/ This addon allows you to bind tabs to a specific container based on the url of the tab.

Tabs that were moved by the user to another window, which is without a group, will be automatically unpinned from the group, because they are in another window, and it is not possible to understand which tabs belong to which group. There is no other way, otherwise logic breaks down.

If I recall correctly, this was a non-implemented enhancement request for the original Tab Groups extension, which can not be used with Firefox Quantum.

I sometimes wished for the feature, but ultimately I accepted the (desktop environment) logic of a window representing a group.

– this is one of a few extensions that can offer a full-window overview of all tabs. Ideal for switching from one tab to another, and so on. Excellent performance, where a session has many tabs (I have 1,404 at the time of writing).
