STG freezes my firefox after it's open for a long time #946

Describe the bug I started to use STG recently and I observed that my FF sessions become frozen after 1-2 days of usage. As soon as I disabled the extension, my problem got solved. I didn't store more than 10 tabs at a time.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Use Firefox with STG for 1-2 days
  2. Wait until firefox becomes completely frozen

Expected behavior FF shouldn't freeze with STG activated.

it happens for me only if i open the "tab-group-chooser dialog". i have about 100 tabs open in 5 groups. also looks that this only happens after some time of running firefox. i'm on firefox nightly and i think i got this the first time about 1 week ago.

Any other extension enabled?

I don't have this problem with sessions of more than 900 tabs with Firefox on FreeBSD 14.0-CURRENT.

A bunch of others, including ublock origin, cookie autodelete etc. But disabling STG solves the issue.
