Getting logs will help a lot, I have not been able to find the reason behind this issue
Where is the data log? I am not a developer.
Download LogFox from Droid-ify. Configure the permissions
Tap the three dots on top, Select "Filters" Again Tap the three dots on top and select Import
Download this file and select this from the import page: filter_droidify.json
Enable the filter and start recording.
Recreate the crash or issue, stop recording and send the logs

In the future you could integrating the data logger directly within your app. An user pushes "track" and it has the data log.
The same issue with NewPipe repo. Talking with its dev team I discovered haven't any problem with NeoStore syncing the same repo.
